United By Film

Tonight our piece for United Way, “Live United” (aka clothesline), which recently won the Gold Hugo Award, was screened at the Chicago International Film Festival’s “Best of INTERCOM”.

Owner, James Lipetzky and EP Tracy Heropkie posed with United Way’s Kelly O’Brien, who brought us the project.

It was a magical night, with some wonderful films! Chicago… I’m yours!

Building a Strong Foundation from the Inside Up!

We are proud to announce the promotion of Tracy Heropkie and Carrie Lewis to the roles of Co-Executive Producers!!

Both Tracy and Carrie have played a pivotal part in helping to establish Foundation as a leader in production, post and creative services and their new roles reflect their broader responsibilities.  Lewis has a strong agency background having joined Foundation in 2005 from DDB where she worked on accounts for JC Penny and Dell. Heropkie who joined Foundation in 2006,  has extensive production experience having served as producer at Bozell and Campbell Mithun and working on such accounts as Mutual of Omaha, Rust-Oleum, Dunkin’ Donuts and Ace Hardware. The pair brings exceptional skill and expertise to the job. “Tracy and Carrie have proven themselves invaluable over the years with energy, attitude and knowledge unmatched by their peers. We are thrilled to have them at the helm as we look forward to upcoming projects in new media, music video, branded films, webisodic and traditional broadcast spots,” says President Samantha Hart.  Partner, James Lipetzky adds, “With these two leading the team, we’re confident Foundation will continue to be a leader in innovative approaches to the changing media landscape.”

4’11 Versus 6’9

Senior Producer, Tracy Heropkie took a Foundation crew to L.A. recently to shoot a series of web content videos for Aetna Insurance’s 50th anniversary! Coincidentally, Magic Johnson turns 50 this year, so he appeared in the videos!! Phil Lee directed it and said it was a blast working with Magic! Tracy described the nearly 7 foot basketball legend as “super chill” but with a “definite presence”.

Everybody seemed to have a good time and the production went off without a hitch! Wanna see more photos? CLICK HERE!!!

Not literally…and no, I am not blogging about that upcoming film starring Jessica Biel’s bottom and co-starring Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenlllwhateverthall.

I’m talking about Spa Where You Are coming to our office for a day of pampering for some of our extremely hard workers of the moment!

One of our senior producers, who missed out last time we did this, got to sit back and have fifteen minutes to herself…I mean, I know this doesn’t really seem like it should be breaking news…but you don’t know Tracy Heropkie! This woman NEVER stays home sick and hardly ever leaves the office!

However, there is one poor soul in our office that has gotten into the habit of staying past midnight! And who- you might ask-is this night owl lurking the halls of Foundation?! Why, it’s the newest member of our Foundation fam, Zac Farley!

Anyway, due to some upgrades, Zac has been having some seriously late night rendezvous with our XSAN! So…20TB’s later…It was mani-time!

Spa Where You Are is kind of awesome! They’ll come out and do manicures, pedicures, table massages…it’s a great service! Check out their website:

Btw, Zac’s color is called “Lincoln Park After Dark” and I sooooo want it!
